Dos Palmas is found on
Arreceffi Island, which is nestled in the tropical waters of Honda Bay northeast
of Palawan's Puerto Princessa. It's a serene world unto itself, an island
retreat far away from the hustle and bustle of the city
CLIMATE
The climate is relatively dry
from November to May and wet from June to October. Hardly any typhoon directly
hits the area. The northeast monsoon winds or amihan starts in October and lasts
until April while the southwest monsoon winds or habagat blows from April to
August

Philippine Airlines and Cebu
Pacific offer direct flights from Manila to Puerto Princessa.
LAND & BOAT TRANSFERS
One of
the 4 airconditioned vans will be on hand at the Puerto
Princessa Airport. From there it is only 25 minutes to
Sta. Lourdes Wharf where a private Dos Palmas outrigger
boat awaits. Then, an exhilarating 55-minute ride
through the blue waters of Honda Bay to the Arreceffi
Island.
ACCOMMODATION
Dos
Palmas Resort has 10 Bay Cottages (which can sleep up to
2 adults and 1 child), and 38 Garden Cottages (up to 5
adults) four of which are accessible/handicap rooms.
Furnished with comfort in mind, all cottages have
verandahs, air-conditioning, private toilet and shower
facilities, hot and cold running water, a mini-bar, and
an intercom phone with NDD/IDD access.
The Bay
Cottages, with a total of 10 rooms perched on stilts
above the clear blue shallows, retain the romantic
ambience of its extraordinary location, while providing
all the luxurious comforts customers have come to
expect. Aside from the Bay Cottages, the existing 38
Garden Cottages have been remodeled, with the former
lofts converted into second-floor rooms for a total of
78 spacious Beach Villa rooms. Four more Beach Villa
rooms are being upgraded into Deluxe Beach Villas with
special amenities such as individual bathtub,
cable-ready TV, internet connection, living and dining
areas, and a mini-kitchen.
The garden pathways leading to the Beach Villas,
previously running in front of the cottages, have been
transferred to the back, allowing more privacy at both
ground level and second floor front porches, where
guests can sit back and enjoy the morning mists and
magnificent sunsets over Honda Bay. The relocation also
hopes to provide added privacy and protection for
hawksbill turtles, which have been observed to nest and
lay their eggs on the beach area around the last quarter
of each year.

Dos Palmas Kara-e-nan
restaurant can cater to various dining needs, whether it is private
affair or a special buffet. It seats up to 250 people and is ideal
for conference purposes. We also have two fully stocked bars, the
Ereneman and the Karawatan, offering snack items and beverages

FACILITIES
Dos Palmas Marine
Sports Center, offers a wide array of marine sports equipment for
Scuba Diving, snorkeling, kayaking, fishing and windsurfing. Across
the restaurant is a freshwater swimming pool with jacuzzi, while
along the beach are cabaņas ideal for relaxing. Dos Palmas has
indoor games and sports. Outdoors, Dos Palmas has a children's
playground and tennis, basketball, beach volleyball and badminton
courts.
With the expected
increase of guests at the resort, Dos Palmas has also upgraded its
recreational facilities. One of the first locations to get a new
look was the swimming pool area, now enlarged into an infinity pool
with Jacuzzi. Other areas, particularly the videoke lounge and KTV
rooms, have also been improved.
Dive enthusiasts will be glad to know that Dos Palmas is now an
accredited PADI Dive Resort, with a full complement of diving
equipment and dive training services. Our professional dive masters
adhere strictly to PADI safety regulations, assuring guests of safe
diving, expert supervision, assistance and instruction for divers
and non-divers who wish to experience the amazing underwater world
around Honda Bay.
PARANARIAN SPA
Dos Palmas is
offering a full range of services to soothe the body and mind
throught their Paranarian Spa. Dos Palmas gusts can enjoy
aromatherapy massage, aromatic facials, body scrubs, hair and scalp
therapy, milk baths and foot spa treatments. Beauty and treatment
products are made only of 100% natural and fresh ingredient like
aloe, cucumber, honey and oatmeal-prepared just 5-10 minutes before
the actual treatment.

FUNCTIONS
Dos Palmas offers
modern facilities for conferences, meetings and seminars, and other
business needs. It has multipurpose 250sqm function room equipped
with full audio visual systems including a TV, VHS, VCD, DVD, and LD
players, a 60" x 80" screen, LCD slides and two overhead projectors.
The function room can seat up to 200 people, theater layout. It also
offers inkjet printing, photocopying, fax, email and internet
services.
The resort has
