Green
Initiatives
Ongoing green initiatives include an ecologically
responsible waste management program and sewage
treatment facility, a water-conservation and
desalination program, and a toxic-material reduction
plan that includes de-chlorination of water supply and
the use of biodegradable, plant-based detergents and
cleaning agents.
Safety and Security
The safety and security of the guests is Dos Palmas'
primary concern. Training is a core element of their
people development program. Together with the City
Government of Puerto Princesa, the Provincial Government
of Palawan, and the Western Command of the Armed Forces
of the Philippines, Dos Palmas help make Honda Bay a
secure place for visitors to enjoy.
The resort provides the following safety and security

Bay Cottages & Beach
Villas
Let the soft whisper of the waves lull you to sleep in
our romantic Bay Cottages.
Or wake up to the sounds of
birdsong in our spacious Beach Villas.
Choose luxurious
accommodations between the gardens and the deep blue
sea.
Perched above the pale blue shallows, Bay Cottages
can comfortably sleep up to two adults and one child.
Fronting the beach are our Beach Villas, which can
accommodate up to three adults.
Handicapped-friendly
rooms are available upon request.
Each room is air-conditioned, with its own toilet and
bath with hot and cold running water, hair dryer, a
mini-bar and personal refrigerator, in-room safe, and an
intercom-telephone with NDD/IDD access.
As an added
bonus, all rooms have private verandahs that afford
a view of the magnificent sunsets and morning mists over
Honda Bay.

Kara-enan
Named after the native Cuyunon word for “a place to
dine”, the Kara-enan Restaurant and Bar is an al fresco
dining hall, with a seating capacity of 250. It serves
an international buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner,
plus an unlimited supply of free coffee, hot tea and
filtered water all day. Open from 7am to 11pm.
In line with the shift towards health consciousness, the
resort kitchen now sources ingredients for salads, soups
and other dishes from its own organic vegetable and herb
garden.
Puting Buhangin, a private white-sand atoll, is
the venue for daily island-style picnic lunches.
On weekends, dine under the stars on the resort’s white
sand beach, while you enjoy a cultural show featuring a
repertoire of Filipino native dances. Bands perform on
scheduled concert nights..
Paranarian Spa
Named after the native
Cuyunon term for “a place to rest”, Paranarian Island
Spa provides a sanctuary where guests can soothe their
minds and bodies with a selection of Filipino-inspired
treatments for rejuvenation.
Indulge in a unique massage experience: hilot, the
traditional Filipino massage, at a secluded location
beside the beach with a spectacular view of Honda Bay.
The spa also offers a wide range of beauty and body
treatments that use tropical fruit and herbal
preparations for total mind and body relaxation.
RECREATIONAL
FACILITIES
Dos Palmas Marine
Sports Center, offers a wide array of marine sports equipment for
Scuba Diving, snorkeling, kayaking, fishing and windsurfing. Across
the restaurant is a freshwater swimming pool with jacuzzi, while
along the beach are cabañas ideal for relaxing. Dos Palmas has
indoor games and sports. Outdoors, Dos Palmas has a children's
playground and tennis, basketball, beach volleyball and badminton
courts.
With the expected
increase of guests at the resort, Dos Palmas has also upgraded its
recreational facilities. One of the first locations to get a new
look was the swimming pool area, now enlarged into an infinity pool
with Jacuzzi. Other areas, particularly the videoke lounge and KTV
rooms, have also been improved.
Dive enthusiasts will be glad to know that Dos Palmas is now an
accredited PADI Dive Resort, with a full complement of diving
equipment and dive training services. Our professional dive masters
adhere strictly to PADI safety regulations, assuring guests of safe
diving, expert supervision, assistance and instruction for divers
and non-divers who wish to experience the amazing underwater world
around Honda Bay.
CORPORATE
FUNCTIONS
Dos Palmas offers
modern facilities for conferences, meetings and seminars, and other
business needs. It has multipurpose 250sqm function room equipped
with full audio visual systems including a TV, VHS, VCD, DVD, and LD
players, a 60" x 80" screen, LCD slides and two overhead projectors.
The function room can seat up to 200 people, theater layout. It also
offers inkjet printing, photocopying, fax, email and internet
services.
