CALAUIT SAFARI TOUR

(from Club Paradise or El Rio Y Mar)

Explore the Philippine's wildlife sanctuary - Calauit Island. An ideal home to various species of exotic African and Palawan endemic flora and fauna. Hundreds of animals such as a variety of birds, giraffes, elans, topis, waterbucks, calamian deer, mouse deer, zebras, bear cats and bush bucks freely roam the island. A tropical safari that one would hate to miss!

How to get there?
Calauit is just an hour away from Club Paradise. During low tide, a kayak or a small boat will be fetching guests a few meters from the shore. From there, a tour truck awaits to take the guests around the island

Schedule of Trips:
Morning trip is scheduled at 7:00 am. Early breakfast will be served before you leave. Kindly advise the Front Desk if you need a wake-up call. Afternoon trips are scheduled at 1:00 pm. The whole trip takes about 5-6 hours, depending on sea conditions. A tour can accommodate up to 25 persons per trip. Minimum per trip is 4 persons.

What to wear and what to bring?

What to expect?
This is open wildlife sanctuary and the animals are roaming freely. There may be times that you won't get to see as many animals as claimed by your friends. Then again, there will be times that Giraffes will welcome you by the shore! As most of the animals are still wild, wandering and getting near the animals without permission of the Calauit guide is strictly probihited.
