The El Nido Resorts offer activities as diverse as the environment. Sunbathe or have a picnic lunch in seclude beaches, kayak in secret lagoons, explore isolated islands, take a mangrove tour, snorkel with colorful tropical fishes, have relaxing massage or spa treatment, rock climb or go scuba diving. El Nido has more than 20 diving sites, all easily accessible from the resorts.

The closeness of the country to the equator also allows El Nido's guest to enjoy nightly spectacles in the sky. Stellar wonders like the North Star, the Southern Cross, and other heavily formations in the Milky Way, which may not be seen in the night skies of other countries, can be easily viewed from El Nido.

DIVING

Courses.  The following dive courses are offered :  Open Water, Advance and Rescue Diving. Dive courses must be pre-arranged and requires at least five days to complete.

Dive Sites . The dive sites range from gradual slopes to drop-offs, wall dives to reef flats. Visibility is generally good, with an average of 10 to 30 meters in the summer months of March until May.

Equipment Rental. Diver equipment available for rent at both Miniloc Island Resort and Lagen Island Resort include BCDs, regulators, wetsuits, weights, masks, fins & snorkels. Equipment rental is on first come, first served basis

Operations.  Divers acclimatize in front of the resort or in a suitable confined area. A dive master handles up to a maximum of six (6) divers at one time. Additional safety dive guests are assigned to bigger groups and novice divers. The dive master controls all dives. Night diving can be arranged. All dives are NO-decompression dives.

ROCK CLIMBING

Courses.  We have BEGINNERS that has standard climbing procedures on top rope, proper use of equipment, climbing signals and basic climbing techniques...for INTERMEDIATE, it has the proper belaying and lead climbing...for the EXPERTS (experienced), its basically just guiding or advance climbing techniques.

Climbing Sites/Climbing Routes.  The limestone cliffs in COVE 2 is unique compared to the other limestone formations found all over El Nido because they boast of more than 10 sports climbing routes that range from easy to difficult levels (5.9 being easy and 5.12 for the difficult level) and it reaches 40 to 70 feet high. These routes can accommodate anyone from first timers to fun climbers and even those who are looking for a little of that extra challenge excitement while on vacation. Feeling the different texture of the limestone under your fingers and moving your body along the walls of these magnificent cliffs, bring rush of adrenalin while view of the sea on one side and the rainforest on the other makes this climbing experience truly one-of-a-kind.

Equipment Rental.  Equipment is already included in the rock climbing charges. However, you must bring your own socks>
